Meganet Nodes

Meganet nodes are the backbone of our decentralized network, providing the gateway for internet traffic while rewarding operators for their contribution. Running a Meganet node is simple, free, and lightweight, and you earn rewards based on the traffic you relay and your reputation within the network.

How to Run a Node:

1. Sign Up: Create an account with a username and email.

2. Download the App: Get the Meganet desktop application.

3. Connect to the Network: Click "Connect" and start contributing to the network.

Node Operation:

Once connected, your node automatically registers with the network. As an operator, your responsibility is to maintain uptime to ensure reliable traffic routing. The data packets you handle are encrypted, ensuring privacy and security. Web requests are authenticated with digital signatures, verifying their legitimacy and protecting data from tampering.

Meganet ensures complete privacy - your node only routes public internet traffic, with no access to your personal data or browsing activity. The encrypted web data remains secure, and the entire process operates without tampering or surveillance.
